The racket between Big buisness and Temp. services.

     So recently I have been hunting a good job as I am taking a break from College and need to have my finances in order. I do not want to work in a fast food resturant and I certainly did not want to work in a place like Walmart or Target. None of these places pay very much and they also can not guarantee a set amount of hours per week. It is the same way with most gas stations, grocery and small stores. Not to mention they only pay minumum wage which is like living in poverty anyway especially if you are a father that has to pay child support every week. So I began to look for a job in one of the factories close to my house. The first place I applied to was an auto parts company in Wilmington,Ohio called Ahresty. They are a Japanese company that makes Honda parts as well as other various auto parts for foreign car companies. After I had filled out my application online and submitted it I waited a couple days and called to follow up. They then informed me that Ahresty does not direct hire they only hire through temp services. I found this odd and wondered why they even had an application availible online.

    So after this let down I sucked up my losses and decided to try somewhere else. I applied to three other factories in the nearby area, they all hire through temp services. I did not like the idea of going through a temp service to get a job since I knew it was a scam. At the time I did not understand what a scam it was, but I was soon to find out. I traveled to Wilmington and visited a temp angency called Addecco. When I first arrived they made it seem great, they told me they help people find permanent jobs in a short amount of time and they try their hardest to keep their employees employed. They even told me that if I got put on what they called an "Assignment" that I did not like all I had to do was give a twenty four hour notice and they would end that "Assignment" and give me something new. What they did not tell me is they can end your "Assignment" at any given time and put you on another one. This means that before your ninety days are put in anywhere they will end the assignment and move you to another one. The first "Assignment" that I was put on ironically was Ahresty. After that they moved me two more times. The last "Assignment" I was put on was another place in Wilmington that could not guarntee a set amount of hours a week, My first check from that place was $73.00 dollars and I was driving fourty miles a day. They move people around for a number of reasons and one of the main reasons is because the temp agency gets a percentage of their employees paycheck and if they keep moving their employees from job to job they keep getting paid. This also benefits the jobs that they send their employees to. If they send temporary employees to these jobs they might hire 1 out of 10 and the buisness does not have to pay for insurance, social security, workers comp, etc. This is because the temp is an employee of the temp service not the buisness.

    Some temp services don't even offer insurance and if they do it's the worse insurance availaible. If you happen to get hurt while on the job while under the employment of a temp angency you can expect to lose your job. I have come to the conclusion that all a temp service is good for is ruining your work history so it is harder for you to find a job a job in the future. The best advice I can give anyone who is seeking employment is to steer clear of these places and tough it out, something will come up, there are still good companies out there.

I must admit I am a little intoxicated,but that doesn't matter.I wanna know what has happened to our world? People seem to have lost the sight of how humanity should work.Everyone is different,we should learn to except people for who and what they are.Don't get me wrong I don't believe there is a good reason to kill anyone ever.As said by Mother Theresa One of the greatest diseases to be nobody to anybody.Why can't the world and governments work together to somebody to everybody.We are people not black or white or Afghan or gay or whatever we need to be human.
